I keep getting this error window each time i start any of my Adobe Apps: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Can't figure out how it's affecting my work yet,

any thoughts on how to fix this?

Thank you kindly

Andrea

Hi there,

Sorry that your Adobe apps fail to load as you're getting an error message " LoadLibrary failed with error 126: the specified module could not be found

Which version of Photoshop are you using and how long have you been facing this issue?

Would you mind checking the steps below and let us know if that helps?

  1. Go to the command prompt as described below. Run it as administrator.
  • Open Start
  • Right-click the Photoshop icon (anywhere on the menu).
  • Select the More submenu, and click the Run as administrator option.

2. Type in the following command:  C:\Windows\System32\ copy atio6axx.dll .dl

3. Restart the PC, and check again for the issue.

Thanks,

Akash

Hello Akash,

thank you for your help.

I am using version 21.2.3

I have been facing the issue for a couple weeks now.

I would like to point out that the app does load and operate, despite the error message.

When following your instructions,

this is the message that i get:

I am having the same error message. However Akash, when I right click on the photoshop icon and navigate to 'more' and onto 'run it as administrator', photoshop launches ...and I'm not seeing the 'select command prompt window' open. What should I see once I follow the steps outlined under #1. below?
