OPPOSITE problem: the new feature constraint proportionally when scalling is NOT working...

Hi!

I've been searching all over, because although I have the CC version 2020 of Photoshop (and release 21.1.3) this new feature of default proportional constrain when scalling an object is not working... I've unchecked the PReferences > General > Use Legacy Free Transform ans still nothing.

If I resize a nornal layer (is not a smart object) using the corners and do not hold Shift, it does not scale proportionally...

Help?

G'Day,

Make sure, when your Transform controls are visible, you check on the Options Bar to see if the link between the width and the height is checked (see screenshot below). I've been caught on exactly the same thing. That's the first and easiest thing to do. You can also reset your preferences which should fix it but I'd do some more troubleshooting first before you go that route, starting with the link I mentioned above.
