Question

Where are user actions stored on CS4 on a Mac?

Hi I was using CS4 for a long time but now CC 2019 on Mac OS High Sierra.

I painstakingly saved/loaded installed all my actions and curves from CS4 to CC 2019.

They have now ALL disappeared and I only have the defaults.

HELP!

Where are the user actions/curves stored on CS4?  I've tried searching and googled locations with no results.

There are two default locations, depending on how you use them:

Look in

/Users/UserName/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS4/Presets

or click on your desktop, click Go, then Go to Folder and paste the following:

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS4/Presets

I realised I have them all saved in a folder though.

How do I stop them disappearing again?  I loaded them all up in CC but now they are gone.
Where should I save them to so I don't lose them again?
I never had this issue with CS4 and I don't want this happening again it's v time consuming.

Put them in

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CC 2019/Presets
