Create . iso file for DVD?

I am trying to create a .iso DVD file in Premiere Elements 2018, and it just creates a "VIDEO_TS" folder and an "OpenDVD" folderinstead. If I open that "VIDEO_TS" folder with VLC media player, it 100% acts properly as I click on scene selections, watch movie, etc. But I don't know what to do with this folder as far as making an actual DVD. I haven't done this stuff In a few years. I was hoping to get a regular .iso file so I could use that to create my DVD from it. But I have no idea what I am supposed to do with this folder. When exporting, I even have .iso selected as my output type, yet I still get this unusable folder instead. Any ideas?

forget Adobe and use MOVIVA instead lot cheaper and works well with MOV files.  Adobe updates even to verion 2022 still won't work. About time Adobe expanded their CODEC range  instead of adding features

I don't think the issue I am describing has anything to do with what you just mentioned. Just having an issue outputting an .iso file. Adobe has handled my video formats just fine.

Download CD Burner XP and burn your ts folder to disk.

 

Make a habit of NOT saving to desktop, but rather a folder on a dedicated drive.

An ISO/image is a digital copy of a disk.

When opening an ISO with Windows explorer, you will find the Video TS folder....

So it's not that useless you might think.

forget adobe premier elements it won't do MOV files. I now use MOVIVA instead and that works perfectly and a lot cheaperf as wedll

That is what mine looks like, but instead of outputting an .iso, I always get 2 folders in my destination folder (Desktop): One called "OpenDVD" and one called "VIDEO_TS". If I right click the "VIDEO_TS" folder and open with VLC media player, it will interact just as you would expect a DVD to, menus, scene selection and everything work perfectly. But I have no way to use that folder as an .iso. Even though the program claim to be exporting an .iso. very frustrating...

If you are on Windows and have a DVD burner connected through the Windows drivers system, you should be able to Export directly to a DVD.    If that does not work, a lot of people seem to like the free program called ImgBurn.

That is how I am set up. It even looks like I am selecting everything properly, and it claims the output will be an .iso, bit nope, just this "OpenDVD" and "VIDEO_TS" folders every time. And the "VIDEO-TS" folder acts like a DVD in VLC media player, but from what I can see is not usable for burning a physical disc like an .iso. this is what the inside of the "VIDEO_TS" folder looks like:
