How do I reduce the background noise, and hiss?

I have Premiere Elements 2022, and I searched on YouTube for the topic of reducing, or removing background noise, but all I find on this topic is videos on Premiere Elements Pro 2022. The Pro version has a different setup, and a "denoise" function, but I cannot find how to do it on Premeiere Elements 2022. They are obviously 2 different programs because the "denoise" function is not where it's supposed to be in the "Window" menu. 

How can I get rid of the hissing from my video?  I'm not even sure if it can be done with Premiere Elements 2022.

Yes they are two different programs. No point in looking up for effects in Pro as most of them you will not find in Elements.

Try the free audio program Audacity for cleaning up your audio.

As Ann wrote, Audacity is very good and the price is right.  It is worth the time spent learning it.  There are tools in Premiere Elements that might work for you.  Look in the Audio Effects workspace.  Depending on the nature of the "hiss", one of them might work very well for you.
