If I browse the community, I can see that PE2021 - PE2024 has huge performance issue with rendering simple videos. Even I made a post here complaining about it, which improved nothing.
I found Adobe released PE 2025 now, does anyone have any performance review or I have to buy the license again, play with it to find out?

Each user may have different experiences depending upon many things, including OS, CPU, RAM, SSDs or HDDs, etc.
Download the trial, and you will know if your system has issues.
Note that the trial is only 7 days on PE 2025.

If I remember correctly, last time Adobe team told me only full paid version has graphic acceleration.
I did download the trial and found very limited number of cards are supported.

If you buy direct from Adobe via download, there is a full money back guarantee if you don't like what you get. I'm not sure of the time period now, but it was 30 days.

For now I'd wait for Adobe team to respond, and in the past theyhave provided me a patch, which made my card work with 2022. Let's see.

I've spent just a few days with APE2025 so far but I can say that it works better in terms of performance comparing to APE2021 and APE2024. I can see that my GPU (NVIDIA 4060) is used much more than in the previous versions.
Of course it all depends on the settings and effects used. Simple things such as colour and lighting corrections don't affect the performance much, but for instance Haze Removal can slow thing down a lot in APE2025.
Overall I think that APE2025 performs better than previous versions.
I did number of tests with 4K 60fps HEVC files from GoPro and APE2025 handles them very well.
You probably know that already, but it is important to set appropriate quality/resolution of the preview window to get smooth playback. I set mine to 1/4 wich give me good quality and smooth playback for 4K videos.

I did very simple test. I took 1min of 4K 60fps HEVC video and applied some simple corrections and then exported it again to 4K 60fps H.264 file. As you can see encoding is quite fast for such a high resolution file. You can also see that most of the processing is done on GPU which is great! Output quality is very good.

I did give it a shot. At startup it says -
But when I render a video it do uses the GPU -
Previous APE also did not support this GPU, but Adobe people reached out to me, and assisted me how to use this GPU. Now as they seems have changed a lot in this release, I may need their assistance to make this work again.

I have purchased APE2025 and updated my GPU driver (with support response from Adobe team). Found the app using my GPU to render video 90% more than my CPU. Loved it. Having some issues with keyboard customisation, let's do the discussion in another conversation. Thanks everyone for participating with me.
