Sound sync issue with MTS file

Hi,

Using Premiere Elements 2023, I have sound syncing issue with MTS files, added as-is to the timeline matching clip's setting. The sound is approx 1-sec off which is important for music shooting. It is offsync right from start and pretty consistantly until the end of a 10 minutes clip. Here are the file properties:

I have no sync issue with other files like this .MOV file:

Could the issue be related to the MTS file audio format?

You could also try converting it to a regular stereo video clip using this program.

@796284: HandBrake is exactly what I needed. In addition to fixing the soude issue, it will also help me make more manageable video source files on my "medium-range" PC. And thanks for your very well done tutorial video, BTW.
