Direct2D Drawbot error in Premiere Pro Beta

Hi all,

I keep getting the same error when using Match Frame and scrubbing a clip in the Source panel.
Multiple "Direct2D Drawbot error. HRESULT: +2147023496" appears in the Event panel and the PPro lags and freezes. I then have to restart Premiere to continue working.
I am working with proxy files from 4K MTS Canon C300. I have tried startup with and without plugins and extensions without any difference.

I'm on latest PPro Beta release (currently 24.6.0 b36 ) and Nvidia display studio driver (DCH, v32.0.15.5599).

Thanks for any help

Hi @Ann Bens

I know the frustration. In my case the Drawbot error went away. At least temporary, but I still have massive stability issues. I experienced a small improvement by making sure every audio in the project had the same sample rate (48kHz in my project). Make sure to delete and recreate the media cache.

Hope you reach your deadlines. Good luck!

This bug seems to have made it's way into the newest release. Does anyone know of a better program than Adobe or just a different one? I just can't with these poor, bug-laiden updates we keep getting.

Seen this the other day. Dont remember which build.

If I turn off GPU accelerated UI rendering the timeline clip starts flashing from left to right everytime i want to do something.
