I'm having a problem with the "Enhance Speech" feature in Adobe Premiere Pro 2025. Even though it says the effect is applied, there’s no noticeable difference in audio quality. What’s strange is that my colleagues are using the same feature on the same video files and getting a significant improvement in their audio. When I try the Adobe Podcast web version, it also produces a much better result compared to Premiere Pro.
I’m currently using Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 on a MacBook Pro 2020 with a 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 processor and macOS Sequoia 15.1. I even tested the 2024 version of Premiere, but still, no luck. Here’s what happens: I open a project, apply the Enhance Speech feature to the audio, but the quality doesn’t improve at all. My expectation is to hear a clearer and cleaner sound, but instead, there’s no change.
I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps, like reinstalling Premiere Pro 2025, going back to the 2024 version, and even uninstalling and reinstalling any related audio enhancement add-ons. Despite all this, the audio quality remains the same in Premiere Pro, while the Adobe Podcast tool makes a clear difference. If anyone has suggestions or has encountered something similar, I’d really appreciate your input. Thanks!
