Helo Everyone,
My Adobe Premiere crashed, taking with it three months of saved work — auto saves included. I can’t find any recent files. I was working on a short film, but everything for the past 3 months dissapared. I had to locate all the media in the project to find out that sequence dated back to July.
I’m using the 2024 updated version of Premiere on Mac.
Maybe someone can recommend a way to restore it, or explaine what did happend yesterday when Adobe was updating smth?
Thank you

Premiere does not delete all project files incl all you auto save.
I am guessing you have a faulty hard drive.
FAQ: When to use "Save A Copy," or "Save As," and when to simply use "Save"

My drive is fine, its dessapared from my Mac, not from the drive, included autosave files, recent, and saved sequenses, so I was able to load only remeining one from July. It's looked like I never created or saved anything after.

Your Mac has an internal drive that may be failing.

It sounds like your mac had the problem, when I drive disconnects, that's significant and a real problem. I take it 'not from the drive' means your data is still there.
So look for *.prproj files on your whole drive.
You'll also need a deep think on a backup method. I usually make a copy on a different drive every morning before I start. I number the backup and keep using the original.
