Audio cutting out on Playback

Anyone else noticng a decline in quality since they've updated to the 2023 Versions? 

I've noticed that Premiere has been cutting out audio on playback very often lately. 

Something as simple as music tracks or dialogue tracks will simply cut out and not return, causing me to pause my playback numerous times to make sure everything is actually there. 

I can't get a smooth playback.
