Most users are getting pretty good performance, but some are getting crud, no question. Really weird right now, as it's gotten impossible to predict  cruddy behavior. Can happen with any rig, most media.

As to the color ... if you're on a Mac, well that is most likely due to the odd Apple choice to not apply full Rec.709 specs to Rec.709 video media display. Their ColorSync utility applies the camera transform gamma of 1.96 as if that was the intended display transform gamma.

The proper Rec.709 display gamma is 2.4.

Some Macs allow you to set the video of the monitor to HDTV ... which will actually get you the gamma 2.4 display image. Apparently.

Yes exactly, you have summed it up very well Adobe Premiere Pro has become an unpredictable gas factory so it is no longer a software for professionals, since it wastes a lot of time
In the last five years I don't know how many hours I've spent trying to solve the problems and it's not my job to do that. But apparently the management of Adobe premier pro don't care about the feedback of the users since nothing has been done.

Anyway, I'm really going to change my software Da Vinci resolve and by far the best performing software today and that at all levels

The Davinci Resolve User Forum has lots of posts that discuss problems with Resolve.  Good luck with Resolve.

Quite true. I work for/with/teach pro colorists, mostly based in Resolve or Baselight of course.

Baselight is incredibly stable ... but then, it's also incredibly old-school video post. As in, you buy the computer from them, one of three options ... up around like $14,000, $17,000, or $20,000. You never, EVER add any apps or programs to that computer yourself. AND ... you pay like $1,500/year for a license.

Resolve has been trying to be, like the Adobe programs, a do everything for all users on all gear with all media and any possible workflow need. I think that is perhaps a problematic Ideal.

As both are having similar results ... most users doing ok, some users getting weird ... stuff.

And yes, I work in Resolve daily. Am active on both the LGG and BlackMagic forums also.
