I'm getting constant pop ups saying 'Premiere Pro would like to access data from other apps' which I have to approve, every few minutes while working! Also the first crashes I've experienced in months, since upgrading to macOS 15.0. Using Mac Studio, M1 Ultra, 64GB RAM. Premiere version 24.6.1 v2 Please fix, thanks.

So I recently updated my MacOS as I always do. Out of nowhere, whenever I startup Premiere, a prompt comes up saying PP would like to access data from other apps... never happened before. I looked it up and fixed it by allowing full disk access. Not to mention my Premiere was also freezing mid edit in the midst of all this so I thought by allowing full disk access that it would fix that problem too. I started a new project and started editing and now my Premiere is still freezing while editing... it wont play the video back and I essentially cant do anything. Is anyone else having this issue???

Someone please help because I am on tour right now and cant afford to not edit! Adobe fix this!

That got rid of the "Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 would like to access data from other apps." message for me.

I'm having the same issue since updating to Sequoia on my Mac. Not only the constant irritation of  'Premiere Pro would like to access data from other apps' popup every few minutes but other stability issues with dynamic linking between Premiere Pro and After Effects.  Thanks for the temp fix though! The 'Full disk access' seem to clear things up for now. Now happy giving these apps complete access though and look forward to a real fix from Adobe. Thanks

Same here, and every time I add a lut it instantly crashes. Then when i reopen i have to move the playhead off of the clip quickly and select and remove attributes to everything at once since if i click on the clip with the lut it crashes it again

Make this stop please. You can neither allow or not allow keeps coming up over and over regardless of allow or don't allow. Crashes my up to date mac and adobe software. Also why the heck do you need total access to all my apps Adobe? A bit invasive in this time of tenuous security. Do better please. Thanks

Hi all,

We are aware of the issue where you are prompted on each launch of Premiere Pro to allow app data access. We are looking into the cause of this issue and will update this post as soon as we have more information. We are sorry for the inconvenience this is causing. This issue also affects After Effects, Media Encoder, Audition, and Character Animator.

A temporary workaround is to go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access and add the Adobe video application you are using. Note that it is not expected that our apps require this permission and we're investigating why they currently do.

We're not aware of any macOS 15-specific crashing issues with Adobe's video applications. If you experience a crash - particularly one that you can repeat - please submit a bug report, using these instructions: How do I write a bug report

Regards,

Fergus

I honestly have no real idea what the issue is, but since I have updated my Mac OS Sequoia.
When I open the app it asks me for allowances to other apps which is quite annoying but most importantly I CAN'T work. As soon as I attempt at an edit, and an error window shows up, asks for an update which then I am not allowed to do (please see attachments) and then that is it. No more Adobe Premiere Pro for you!

Please provide some support as I would really like to avoid unistalling and re-installing the software as I will lose all my Workspaces and Preferences.

Thank you for your support in advance!
