P: Fonts rapidly switching with imported MOGRTs

When downloading MOGRTs from Adobe Stock or other websites, many of the MOGRTs will glitch the text. It appears to be rapidly changing the font. Some MOGRTs are fine, but the majority are giving me issues. I've attached an example.

Steps:

Download any MOGRT from Adobe Stock

Install it

Witness the glitch

What should happen: The text shouldn't change.

What does happen: The text rapidly changes over and over.

No 3rd party plugins installed. Mac Sonoma 14.5.1, Apple M3 Max, 36 GB memory.

Sorry to hear you're running into issues. Try opening the mogrt from After Effects instead of right clicking. This tutorial should help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKqEXQfiAHU

Having this same issue with the attached file. It won't let me change the font and when I right click and "Open with AE" nothing happens after effects opens but the project doesn't.

Hi @lindsey_COT,

Thanks for your report, it's been merged with an existing thread. Please see the above workaround to fix the flicker issue.

As for changing the font, the mogrt was built from when mogrts did not support a font dialog, so it's not possible from Premiere Pro. The mogrt would need to be opened in After Effects to be modified and exported.

Hi all,

Thank you for reporting this issue, a ticket has been opened to investigate a fix.

As a workaround, please try the following:

In the Project panel Motion Graphics Templates bin, find the aegraphic media
Right click on the media, select "Reveal in Explorer/Finder"
Delete the aegraphic
In Premiere Pro, select the mogrt in the Graphics Templates panel and alt-replace it onto the clip in the timeline

Alternatively, working in 24.5.0 should circumvent the issue.

Can you confirm all the fonts used in the MOGRTs are installed on your machine? This issue is slightly different but may be similar to what you're experiencing.

I don't see anywhere in this template to change the font. When I play the video back it bounces back and forth between two different fonts. The file # is 196211214. It may be because I don't have the font in this template, but I don't know where to find that info.
