Premiere Pro 24.3 crashing when editing mask on adjustment layer

I am editing 4k footage and have an adjustment layer with a mask path. I'm editing the mask path frame by frame. All effects except the adjustment layer are turned off to help performance.
Sometimes when editing the path either PP fails to render or completely crashes. The crashes seem to occur when deleting vertex on the mask shape. Failure to render occurs when adjusting vertex on the mask shape.
I DO currently have on GPU acceleration. GPU is a 3080ti.
PP version 24.3.0 build 59
Windows 10

Hello @Ali3715583815s8,

Thanks for filing the bug. Please try updating to the current version of Premiere Pro. If you are still having the issue, the team will need more info. See: How do I write a bug report? We need to know more about the version of Premiere Pro you are using, as well as system and media info. Can you help them out? Sorry for the frustration.

If you hold CTRL and select a mask vertex node the program will crash out on my project, every time.

Here is the taskmanager on one such occassion when PP failes to render while editing the mask path.
Seems to be an issue with the GPU overloading.
