Problem with auto-save and project file not showing

Hello, 

Fora a few days i worked on a project that was saved automatically and manually, when i wanted to open it again after reopening the program, i could not find the saved project anywhere, not even on the disks where automatic saving in activated. Does anyone have any advice how to get the project back?
