Random Issues With Premiere

Randomly (usually on days where I have a ton of editing like today) I am running into issues with premiere skipping and lagging while doing simple tasks.

No it's not my computer, and everythign else including after effects runs smoothly on the computer.... But not premiere.

This happens randomly about once per month, and the next day everything will work perfectly fine.

What is the issue here and how can I make this no longer happen.
