I notice when I use the YouTube Short Template, my audio crashes. I had to start editing my video, creating a new file, transfer the elements over and make adjustments, and then place it back. If I build the project with the template inclided, my audio gets distorted.

The social media templete available in premiere when you open a new project. The project was in 25.1.

I am working in version 25.1. I was using stock videos from envanto all in a MOV. foromat.I am working on a Windows HP ZBook

Sorry to hear about the crashes. Could you please confirm if by 'template' do you mean a template project file that you use with your media files? If so, from where were these template projects downloaded & do you know in which version of Premiere Pro were these created?
