The Search function when relinking offline media does not take you to the corresponding file

When relinking offline media, pushing Locate with "Use Media Brwoser to locate files" checked calls up Media Browser to search for offline files. When you have navigate to a folder in the tree on the left side of the Media Browser window where you know the files to be inside, pushing the Search with "Display Only Exact Name Matches" checked results in Media Browser indicating it has found the file, but the file display window on the right side of the screen does not show the found results. You still have to navigate directly to that file.

I believe this became an issue somewhere in 24.x, I just don't know where. I'm currently on 24.3, running Mac OS Ventura 13.6.7 on a Mac Studio M1 Ultra. This problem also occurs on my laptop at home, Ventura 13.6.7 MacBook Pro M1 Max.

Pictures below show the problem.

Yes, let me check a few things for you and I'll report back with some results of the testing. This particular footage is in a shared storage folder on Dropbox, which is stored locally (and not in Locations like Box.com or Google Drive).

Hello @BrianLevin,

Thanks for the bug report. If you have time, please give the team more details in the following format. See: How do I write a bug report?

Is the footage you are browsing located in shared storage, like DropBox? Can you try the same if the footage is located on a dedicated folder that is not impacted by shared storage?

The team needs the information required to replicate this bug.

Any further details would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin
