Question

Timeline Not Visible (Missing)

I finished editing a project, but when I reopened it, one of my sequences was missing from the timeline. I can scrub through the sequence, but I can't edit it or see any clips or channels.

One thing I noticed is that if you hover over the "void," it still shows info for whichever clip you're hovering over.

I've shared screenshots of two sequences for comparison. I’ve already reinstalled the software and cleared the cache, and I also tried the latest beta version, but it crashes when I try to open the project. It's really random and quite frustrating. I also tried turning off GPU UI option as well with no effect.

Premiere Pro Version: 25.1.0 (Build 73)
Windows 10 Pro: Version 22H2 (Build 19045.5371)
RAM 128GB
GPU: 4070ti Super

I have imported images into primere pro and even added keyframes with animations. Originally this was fine, but lately I have been unable to see the images and videos in the timeline, but do see them in the program monitor.

Not sure about the Windows Update, regarding monitors I have 3 screens. I Tried different workspaces and isolated the program to one monitor to see if it would correct it - but no change.

Hi @s.despins,

Thanks for all that detailed info. Thats helpful.  Do you know if this issue began after the latest Windows update last week?  Are you using a second monitor as well?

This project was created with the most recent version. The bug suddenly appeared after opening the project up after rendering in Media Encoder.

Project File: Corrupt Project - Group 01 is the corrupt sequence, 02-03 are how 01 use to be.

Premiere Pro Version: 25.1.0 (Build 73)
Windows 10 Pro: Version 22H2 (Build 19045.5371)
Processor: 12th Gen Intel | i9 12900k
RAM 128GB
GPU: 4070ti Super | Driver: 572.16
SSD: Samsung 850 PRO 128gb
Video Format: Blackmagic RAW - 4k

Shared sequence settings from another sequence, no option to click on anything from that corrupt seqeunce.

It does appear 'cursed'. Since it plays, shows the clip info when the mouse is hovered, but will not display in the timeline!

It's a new one for me.
