Which Premiere version and build?

Render as in preview files or export?

Post screenshot sequence setting, export settings and media properties.

Three thing to change:

  1.  Your source footage is 24 fps and you timeline is 24 fps but you are rendering out to 23.697 fps.
  2.  Un-check "Render at Maximum Depth" in your export settings.
  3.  Un-check "Use Maximum Render Quality" in your export settings.

All those parameters will increase your render time and the last two will sloooooow down big time.

And if possible, move the file 3.mp3 out from OneDrive. Having source files on OneDrive has sometimes lead to issues.

HI Averdahl,

Hi changed the 3 things you recommended above, only the mp3 files is still in my OneDrive.

Rendering time, still over 3 hours for a 10 min 4k Video....the time is still climbing.... rendering 4.81% and 4 hours 27 minutes... That cant be right? Can you think of anything else i can consider that might help.

Thanks for your assistance, greatly appreciated.

What happens if you don´t render the timeline but instead go direct to the Export page and export it? It will probaly not change anything, but if you just want to export there is no need/must to render the timeline prior to exporting.

Do you have any effects on the video/audio clips. Some effects do slow down renders.

And i see now that your timeline and source clip is 4096x2308 but you are exporting to 3840x2160. The downscaling there will increase the render time as well.

Hi Averdahl,

I matched the source so that the timeline, source clip and exporting is 4096 x 2308, and as you can see below, it did nothing to the exporting time.

No i do not have any effects on the video/audio clips.

I Choose to render in timeline, because  the red line on my timeline (see image below) lags my playback, even if it is set to 1/4 playback resolution.

What are the properties for the clip with the red line? Any effects on that clip? Select that clip on the timeline and post a screenshot of the whole Effects panel.

Hi Averdahl,

Yes, that is a 17 second Mogrt Logo Intro with effects. I guess that obviously is part of the reason that the rendering is taking longer?

Try to render or export everything but the mogrt logo. Set an In Point past the end of it and an Out Point at the end of your timeline. This will exclude the intro.

If you render the timeline, go to Sequence > Render In to Out.

If you export, Ctrl+M and make sure that the Range is set to Source In/Out.
