It crashes on playback way more frequently than previous ones, which were typically buggy (as usual) in their way.

Dear richyratton,

Yes, running into bug is frustrating. But more frustating is that you give us, other user on this forum, no info at all to help you with. Also most of your message is your personal feeling/view of things. And that also doesn't help anyone to help you.

So, if you realy want us to help you, can you please share your system info? Like OS and version, CPU, RAM, GPU vRAM? Sequence settings, codecs used etc. Thanks. Also a screen grab of your issue will be helpful.

Hello @richyratton,

Thanks for filing your bug report. @Joost van der Hoeven has some great troubleshooting ideas. Try those out and let the community know if any steps worked for you. As Joost mentioned, the team will need more information about your system and media. See: How do I write a bug report? Providing such details is somewhat cumbersome, but it helps the team focus on the issue faster.

As the moderator here, I had to edit your bug report. Sorry about that. I understand the frustration, but please move the off-topic comments to the lounge. That keeps the team focused on fixing the bug at hand. I appreciate it, so thanks!

Cheers,
Kevin
