Taking as reference the size of your clips, the LUTs and who knows how many more filters, transitions and effects, this export time could be said to be within the average. You have not told us if you are exporting to a network, or to an external disk, or to the same disk of the system, the number of applications that you have open, among other factors that have to do with the export time.

I always use proxy files to render approval copies from 4k footage, until the final full quality render. It means exports are about 3x quicker.

  • First make sure you have proxies created and attached for all source media.
  • Select all media in timeline, right-click, make offline.
  • Premiere now can only see the proxy files.
  • Media encoder too can only see the proxies, and will use them as source.

When you're ready for the final render, select all in timeline, right-click, link media.
