Question

About win 11 and older version of premiere pro

I just got a new laptop with a windows 11 system. And I am planning to install an older version of Adobe premiere pro as the size is small. But the web said that win 11 is compatible with premiere pro 2022 or later....

Does it mean I can't install and run versions earlier than PR 2022 on win 11?

I am planning to just use PR 2019 if applicable.

Looking forward to your answer

I've got older packages (2019) and (2022) installed in my Win 10 back up PC - and when these launch they require a valid log in to Adobe servers via Creative Cloud app. In other words they look for active subscription.

From my experience if you try launching an old installation package it always needs valid subscription ( equivalent to a licence I guess).

Premiere 2019 is not supported anymore and Adobe don't provide a download for this version anymore...

You'll have to use 2025 or 2024.

You can only install the current version of Premiere Pro (25.x) and the version before it (24.x.x) from Creative Cloud. Adobe do not make older versions like 2022 or 2019 available anymore.

But if I am able to install an older version (I have installation packages for that) , will the system accommodate it?

What happens when you try to install it?
