Adding Registered symbol in Premiere

In the updated essential graphics editor, I can not figure out how to add trademarks. In the old title editor I would just copy and paste them from somewhere else. When you right click in the type box there isn't an option to paste anything. The traditional keyboard shortcuts don't work either. I'm using a PC if that matters.

    try this steps:

    1. select the type tool, it will highlight in blue.

    2. click on the monitor screen, you will see a red rectangle

    3. copy (Ctrl+C) this ® and paste (Ctrl +V)

    are you experiencing anything differet?

I use the ALT Key  method to apply those symbols

    eg ALT-0169 = ©  , ALT-0174 = ®

Hold down> ALT Key and type numbers on NUM PAD

I keep a list like this close to my edit station
