Hello! I'm adding some info to a promo I'm doing and since Legacy Title is retiring I'm using Essential Graphics. As you can see, it's nothing special. Just a little text with some borders, but the top still is a preset Text in Baba Neue Font. As you can see, it's legible, but doesn't really stand out. In the past, I've just added a couple of Outer Strokes to text that needs to pop against a background and it's been great. Here, every time I add a stroke, it makes the font brighter and less legible.
The Still at the bottom is a Legacy Title using the same font and I just added a few Outer Strokes. How can I recreate this in Essential Graphics, especially now that Legacy Title's days are numbered? Thanks.

That's very odd. I can check with my scopes here, and adding a stroke or multiple strokes does nothing to the brightness of the letter itself. I just get a stroke added.
Huh. Wonder why not on your rig?

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I didn't get a notification that I'd gotten an answer. I was having an issue with that audio bug which mutes tracks, so I downgraded to one update before the latest one, but I don't think that would be the cause, but yeah. It's very strange. It literally looks like the letters get brighter and fuzzier the more strokes I add to it. The second photo is just a few clicks and boom, it's way more distinctive and solid. If there are any tricks to get around this, I'd be more than happy to try them. Thanks very much.

Just so puzzling, and frankly I've got no clue here on this one. You seem to have done a number of the standard things.
