Adding text to 3D VR180 video

Hi all,

I'm trying to add text to a stereoscopic left / right 3D VR180 video.  Here are my steps:

1) added text to the center of the video, aligned it center

2) added "plane to sphere" effect on it, to make it VR

3) frame layout stereoscopic left right

4) Scaled it back to 100%

5) Used projection rotation to put it lower on the screen

The problem I'm having is that the text is double.  So I'm seeing 2 times the same text, overlapping, with a small distance of difference, shifting left to right.

I have tried the stereo disparity at 0, 2, 10, 15 ... the higher it goes, the worse it gets.

I'm pretty new to Adobe Premiere Pro, so it might be something that's really obvious to you.

maybe it helps if I showed you.  This clip will not stay online, it's only a test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsegN5cuTfo

Its easy with GoPro VR Layers plugin for premiere pro, this plugin allows you to insert different elements directly in your video (text, images, videos) without worrying about the distortion from using a spherical scene.

Thank you, I have tried it, but it seems that it is only available for 360 2D video's and I'm shooting 180 3D.

I recommend doing this in After Effects if you have access to AE.

Thank you for the tip, but I don't have access to AE.
