Adobe Encore content not showing in app

I was able to DL Encore content to my computer. I don't where to put the content in the Adobe Encore folder so it

will show when I open the application.

I was told Encore is obsolete, is there another program that allows one to make dvd menus besides Encore?

Encore from CS6 is the latest of this software. I suppose that Adobe thinks, that DVDs and BlueRays are no more state of the art and that content moves to all digital.

I for myself I am creating only digital content to run from a hard disk or a stick. No DVDs for the last 5 years.

Encore my be "old", but it is still the software to use if you are on Adobe Cloud.

Adobe did NOT decide to stop developing Encore, they were forced to stop

i only received a only a small portion of the available content. For some reason much  is missing
