Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin.

After the latest update I now get this message everytime I open the app. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've used the troubleshooting app to reset preferences. I've restarted the Mac several times. Nothing seems to work. When I click the button to move it to the bin as requested it returns an error saying I have to do it manually. When I do it manually nothing changes. I've not seen this error anywhere on the internet, yet, and I'm very concerned.

Same issue with 2025 version. Suggested solutions are not working. I'm movie the project and media from my M1 mac to my old PC for now.

I'm asking if you were able to solve it. I've had the same problem since today and I don't know what to do.

This will happen to the 2025 Version, as it did to me.

This is on Mac's end.

- Before opening Premiere, open Settings > Privacy & Security > Scroll down to Security.

- Open Premiere and receive the annoying "Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin"

- Go to Security and a new option pops up that gives you the option to Allow Premiere 2025 to open.

That was my process . Hopefully it helps.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have even removed all of my prefrences for a fresh install... which really sucks. Everything was working just fine yesterday. I shut down my system before going home. Unplugged nothing. I turn my system on today and that's the message I get. Nothing has changed. The system hasn't been on to change anything. WHY?!?!?! I have so much work to get too and literally cannot.

I have the same problem. I tried doing what worked for everyone but it isn't working for me. Time to switch to then?

Thank you to the folks on this thread! This happened to me today, and it seems from other responses has been an on-going event. Specifically, I noticed that I had the correct security & privacy setting selected, but Premiere was blocked because the developer was unrecognized. Seems like it may be a deployment issue from Adobe's side.

In Privacy and Security.... make it "App store and identified developers" and ALLOW it to download and run

I managed to solve it (for Mac). Go directly to the app in the Applications folder. Control + click the app icon then select open. The warning message appears if you want to open it, click Open and it loads. it now loads from the CC panel as normal.
