Adobe Premiere Pro 23 crashes when importing .mxf files from google desktop drive

For whatever reason, with the new 2023 updates, I am no longer able to import .mxf files from the google desktop app. Every other files have no issue. This was not a problem with Premiere 22. The problem is, often times projects are handed off to me from a Premiere 2023 project file which will open, then immediately crash if there are linked .mxf files. This creates a HUGE workflow issue for me. I've spent the majority of my day with customer support trying to resolve it to no avail. Frustrating beyond measure.

    Sorry about the frustration. What's the source of mxf files? Could you check if crash reports are saved? You can get them from here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/faq-where-do-i-find-premiere-pro-crash-logs-on-windows-or-mac/td-p/9200778

    Most of the files I have been dealing with are created from a Sony Camera
    and uploaded to google drive. I checked the crash reports but there are
    none. When this crash occurs, there is no error message or crash warning.
    It literally just shuts down.
