They completely rebuilt Color Management (CM) in the 2022 version. We have more CM options spread around the application than before, and many default behaviors were changed. Essentially, the user is now in charge of matching clip CM properties to sequences to exports. This is no longer assumed to be a Rec.709 end-to-end workflow.

This FAQ goes over the changes in detail. What was changed, why, and how to work with the app with these changes.
