Why did you remove a very basic function that I absolutely need? Namely, being able to change the color of a clip in a timeline?? I do interviews all the time. I put a single interviewee's recording in a sequence. I duplicate that sequence. Then, I take my marked up paper transcription, and mark the ins and outs of the interview clips I want to keep. I change the color of all the clips I want to keep as I go along. Then, I highlight and delete the clips I don't want which are easy to identify because all the clips I wish to keep ARE A DIFFERENT COLOR. Been doing this since I started using Premiere two decades ago. WHY TAKE THIS FUNCTION OUT? It didn't need to be removed. How do I work around your latest "update" so I am not wasting my time? When I lose time, I lose money.

They just moved the setting. If you'd looked in the wrench icon for the timeline panel, it's the top option.
"Show source clip name and label".
If checked, it shows the same as the Project panel and all other uses of the clip. Change the clip, it changes others.
Unchecked, you only change that clip.
