AE Render end replace does not respect transparency

I use a AE file inside Premiere Pro and it works fine, it has a transparent background at the beginning and all is working as it should.

For speeding up workflow I wanted to prerender this AE-file clicking on 'render and replace' as I did many other times. BUT the transparency has gone, I have a black area where the transparency should be. How can I resolve this bug or is there any setting I need to change?

I think the format to which you rendered-and-replaced, might not support alpha (transparency)?

Hi, the original file has transparency. When choosing 'render and replace' I have only these options.

I don't know of a DNxHD/MXF output pairing that supports transparency

I know that QuickTime ProRes 4444 does; perhaps others do as well.

 Yes I can choose Quicktime, but after that better 4444 or 422 HQ?

Apple's website suggests that ProRes 422 does not support an alpha channel; for transparency, I think 4444 will work.

Ok, seems that 4444 ist the best of the best. In fact the prerendering was a bit slower (46 Min instead of 38 Min on apple m3 max).

And I am happy to tell you that with Quicktime 4444 I was able to respect the transparency in Adobe Premiere. Wow! Thank you very much for your time and help.
