Alexa clips coming in sideways and flipped - how to fix?

Some of my 4K Prores 4444 clips shot on an Arri Alexa are coming in flipped and sideways. They open normally in QT player and look fine in the finder window on my iMac, but Adobe Premiere and After Effects (latest versions) bring them in as described above. Short of flipping and rotating them all to fix them, does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how I can fix globally on import? Seems to be some kind of meta-data issue. You can see pixel dimensions are switched in the "video info" in project window (should be 3840 x 2160 but it is the opposite). The pixel dimensions are not switched when I look at info in the Mac finder window. Only in AE and Premiere. Screen Shot 2019-04-29 at 1.10.41 PM.png

This issue was resolved when I downloaded v 13.1.2 - I thought I was running the latest version but I was still running 12 - for some reason my subscription was not updating to the latest version even though I always clicked on update in the Adobe Application manager. Now I have a different problem - when I make proxies they appear black. It's as if my computer lacks the codec but they are Prores so I don't see why they appear black. I can hear audio when they play but no picture.

What does Mediainfo say about the pixel dimensions?

If you mean the media browser info window, it has them reversed - see screen grab below. I attached another screen grab to show how media browser sees them on the hard drive, some normal, some reversed with no apparent pattern (all shot on same camera). Below is a third screen grab showing the same clip is normal in finder "Get Info" window.Screen Shot 2019-04-29 at 3.55.25 PM.pngScreen Shot 2019-04-29 at 3.54.46 PM.pngScreen Shot 2019-04-29 at 4.09.49 PM.png

Try to use Edit Ready from Divergent Media : EditReady : Transcode Any Camera Source Without The Hassle

or try to Interpret your prores footage from 'Modify' to something other than square pixel...(might not work but try)

You say you are on the latest version? 13.1.2?

If so, have you tried these on an older version?
