Another Loop-Fade Question!

Hi all,

Been trying to wrap my head around making this happen and following advice from tutorial videos that I google, but to no luck!  So I'm posting the question here.

How can I cross dissolve a static image ending to a different static image beginning?  The goal here is to create a gif that loops infinitely, cross dissolving between just those two pictures.

Put the two video's (A + B)next to each other and add cross dissolve.

Now cut the first video (A) in the middle and take the first part and drop it at the end of the second clip (B).

Add a cross dissolve.

Now move everything to the beginning of the timeline and export.
