Question

Any way to convert "Motion" keyframes into "Transform" keyframes?

Hey everyone, I made a noobie mistake. I wanted to make some transitions between clips, where one would push the other out of the way with motion blur added to that. Thinking I could add the motion blur through a effect, I did around 50 transitions with the "Motion" effect, only to be told by Google that you need the "Transform" effect for this to work. So, do any of you know of any way to copy those Motion keyframes over to Transform keyframes without having to redo everything manually?

Thanks in advance, I hope this is the last time I have to come here because my stupidness made me mess up again. 😅

The bad news is that unfortunately tou can't.

The good news is that there are 4 things you can do, depending on how your workflow is built.

1- You can use "directional blur" to add the blur effect to the already keyframed transitions

2- You can use the "transform" effect on an adjustment layer and simply duplicate on the top of where you want your transitions to be

3- Save the transform effect as a preset and apply it wherever you want

4- Download and run free-tril of transitions pack from Film Impact, Push transitions will be unlocked for life.

Which blur effect are you using?

If you need to copy the keyframes you could step along the keyframes in 'motion' and then copy the x/y value and paste in the transform effect.
