Hi luigic,

Sorry for your issue. I understand that you are getting issues with the audio playback. Ideally, it should not happen.

  1. Have you tested the sound of the audio tracks separately inside Premiere Pro?
  2. Have you applied any keyframes to the second audio track?

Try these:

Let us know if it helps.

Thanks,

Shivangi

That sounds like an auto-ducking setting of some kind ... I don't recall that 2017 had that, but maybe.

Check in the Effects Control Panel audio section to see if any audio effects are applied to that clip.

Does your sound card have some sort of auto levelling selected on its output?

The "global fx" icon is in the Program Monitors controls ... if you don't see the " fx " on your control block, go to the + icon on the lower right of the Program monitor panel, click it ... and drag the fx icon out onto your controls.

When clicked and blue, all fx are turned off ... gray, they're on.

Hi, Did you use any of the mixers of Premiere Pro ? There are two mixers: Element Mixer and track mixer.

If automation has been engaged it might have recorded everything you have done with those mixers.

You have to make sure that you don't have any keyframe on those tracks.

First, double clic on the second track header ( where you can see the icons, Mute, Solo etc) , it will maximise the track. You should see a keyframe icon with a little arrow pointing down next to it. Check every options and see if there's any keyframe applied . Let us know.
