When I import my video files, they start playing fine but from a point on audio gets out of sync with the video.. I have played the files on a player on my laptop (VLC) is the whole file is in sync, so the problem is with Premiere Pro... I even imported the file into windows movie maker, and it's stays in sync.. Any ideas, suggestions, reasons? Can I undo the update?
Appreciate all the help, this is a serious issue.

From where are the videos? It's possible the audio if a variable frame rate. If so, use Handbrake to convert to a constant frame rate. You can check the frame rate from the tree view in MediaInfo [download it.]

Videos are from a galaxy S6 phone, if this is the case, will I need to this every time?

Yes, you need to convert VFR to Constant Frame Rate every time
convert to constant frame rate with https://handbrake.fr/ open source transcoder/converter

Most likely. Use MediaInfo (tree view) to see if audio or video are variable frame rate.

I am having the same issue. Source is X-Split recordings Audio is find but after about a minute the audio and video are out of sync by about 3-5 seconds. Raw footage is fine only happens when it's in premier and even after rendered.

For this type of work, Premiere Pro is not the right tool.
