I've got the autosave turned off, but I still see the autosave folder in every project.
Which creates multiple versions of the same project file.. and is just confusing.
How do I turn off the autosave completely?

I would expect the folder to be there, but with the feature turned off, I would expect it to be empty.
Confirm the feature is off, start a new project, fiddle around a little, then let PP sit for a while.
Anything show up in that new folder?

There appears to be a bug.
Turn off autosave; delete autosave folder; create new project; there is no autosave folder, no project files saved in autosave (the new feature "Auto Save also saves the current project(s)" that saves a file by the same name as the project file, but in the autosave folder), and no actual autosave files (files with the project file name plus a date and time stamp).
Save the project: an autosave folder is created and a copy of the project file with the same name is saved in the folder. There are still no autosave files with the date/time stamp. "Autosave" does not operate, and the project file in the autosave folder is not updated, until the project is saved, at which time, a new copy of the project file replaces the one in the autosave folder.
Also, with autosave turned on, and the "save project" option turned off, it continues to be saved.
