Need to sort in Freeform view by capture time, etc. Wasting too much time organizing manually from scratch. Can this be done?

No, in Freeform the sort is disabled. It is designed to be a manual-operation section of the Project panel so that the changes you make cannot be undone mistakenly. Which at times is a pain.

The Transform view was designed to keep us from mangling a carefully setup view by clicking a button ... so no, you can't sort by settings in the Freeform view.

What you can do is use color lablels to designate different properties or other organizational things you want to use in Freeform. This works well for media types of course. But it doesn't help with shooting time sorting.

Which is a bit of a pain. I hope someone else has a suggestion.
