Bad reverse playback on Adobe 22-23-23.1

Hey Guys,

We having an issue with reverse playback, it is very very choppy.

Gear : AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5975WX 32-Cores 3.60 GHz , 128GB RAMM , NVME SSD, RTX A4000 graphic card. Windows 10LTSC

Now we have testesd on the same machine an OLDER premiere versie 14.9 

When we take our MP4 testfile and do revers playback it goes good. gets somethimes a bit choppy, but you can use it.

Now if we look at the debug monitor and the task manager we see that he is decoding Hardware based.

Nice to see, good to know.

Now we move on to a more recent version on Adobe and come to 22-23-23.1 with same result.

Same testfile, same SSD, same computer and the playback reverse is a mess, choppy as hell.

SO we see now in the debug monitoring that he doesnt look at hardware decoding ? In the prefecrences the H264/HEVC hardware decoding and encoding is on.

Anybody has any idea why there is so much difference between an old version and new version ?
