Best Workflow With Multiple Video Files

I am working with three different video files from Zoom (Speaker, slides, and gallery). I'm trying to produce a clean video that goes between the active speaker, the screen share, the gallery, and custom views like the speaker beside the screen share. (I know Zoom can do this but I want to have a clean file with transitions, etc).

Right now, I'm putting all of the video files on one sequence and am simply making cuts "unchecking enable" or deleting any of the parts of the files that I do not need.

For example, if I just want the speaker, I will "uncheck enable:" after making cuts so the screen share disappears. Then, further down the timeline, I might bring back the screen share and remove the speaker view.

Is there any easier way to do this? It is very labor intensive. I tried creating a multiicamera sequence, but I'm not sure that is the best way either as I can't crop/scale exact parts of the video to get custom views.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you want to show the speaker and the slides side by side but make one of them larger, this "Remote Interview" workflow using my (paid) extension Automation Blocks can be very handy:

Neil's suggestion with Multicam is perfect if you want to keep always just one of your three sources visible.

You can also combine the two - like first switching via multi-cam between gallery and slides and then create a final video with the "Remote Interview" workflow to show the speaker and gallery/slides side by side.

The multicam  is the proper process, but it can be a bit of a bear to puzzle out.

You should be able to do your cuts, then if you want to zoom in on one section, it should work on just that one 'cut' ...

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Multicam is the way to go within Premiere:
