Better/Faster way to listen to multiple audio samples within the media browser in Premiere

The best way to put it is with a typical scenario:

I have a whole bunch of "punch" sounds in my project bin, and I have to sometimes click through tons of them before I have the "perfect" sound for that moment. How I do this is I double click the file, which makes it appear on the source monitor, then I have to press spacebar to start and stop. But what makes it super annoying is if I already previously heard the sound , then the spacebar option doesn't work.

So what Im thinking is if there is a way to "ALT+click" and it auto just plays the sound, and everytime I "alt+click" it, then it will repeat everytime. This is a common feature in Music DAWs when having to listen through 100's of samples to find the right sample .

I hope this was easy to understand and if there is a better way that other know about
