When I drop video into a new project, any video, I get black screen in both my souce and sequence video.
I have updated to the latest version and I have tried different videos
I can hear the audio, but not see the video ro the video is block glitched.
Any ideas of what I need to do?
Thanks
Seth

For me on MacBook Pro M1 Pro, the option "Software only" is greyed out. I only have "Metal" available and no option to change. How should I deal with this?

I am still having this issue after playback was completely fine last opened. Now sequence is black, however, importing source content again (uncut) plays perfectly fine. Very frustrating....on a Mac.
What can I do to get my sequence back?

I am also having this issue. PP was working fine, I have made no changes, other than upgrading to PP v 24.5.

Definitely still an issue.
I am Premiere 23.6.2 on Ventura Intel Mac.
Premiere has decided that all clips AFTER where I am up to are black. Its like there is nothing there at all. I have tried:
Literally the only thing that makes it work is if I hit F to view in source monitor and then OPTION + DRAG the clip to replace it with the one on the timeline. Then that clip also shows up. Its a complicated project. I don't have time to replace the source of every individual clip.
