This looks like a bug to me - I've reported it, but I'm copying it here in case anyone else has seen it. In one particular sequence when I do an extract between an In and Out
In one particular sequence when I do an extract between an In and Out point the gap does not close up - instead only some of the frames disappear
In the first picture note the clip between 02:45:00 and 02:49:15 which is marked between in and out points
The second picture is after an extract operation - note that there is still a gap between 02:45:00 and 02:46:07
If I do this two clips further down the timeline, for example between 02:53:01 and 02:54:01 it works as expected - see pictures 3 and 4
this happens at other places on the timeline as well - for example - the entire timeline is empty from the start till 02:33:19
if I mark in and out points from the start till 02:33:19 and do extract then most of the space is not cut off -
the first clip which previously started at 02:33:19 now starts at 02:30:12 - again see the two before and after images

Extract works fine here on W10.
Does this issue appear in all projects or just this one?
BTW there are no pictures.

It happens in one project, trying to add the pictures again

And here is the 3rd case - from the start of the sequence till the first clip - doesn't work
extract and move playhead to first clip...
gap doesn't close - just gets smaller by about 3 seconds

Does it make any difference when synclock is unlocked.
If it is just this project make new one and import old one into this new one.
See how that will go.

sync was off on V2 A1 and A2, - turning A1 and A2 on didn't make any difference,
turning sync on for v2 did eliminate the problem - turning it off brought the problem back
Moving the video of the last clip on v2 to v1 eliminated the problem, as did moving the audio from A3 to A2,
Note that V1 is a multicam nest
So is there an explanation for this behavior - or is it a bug ?
Will the information here be passed on to the development team ? (I reported the original bug, but without the picture and without this new finding obviously)
Thanks
