After saving a project in Encore CS4 to disk image, when I burn this disk image to a DVD using either Toast
or disk utility, the menu buttons disappear. The rest of the project is intact. The menu background is there, the
video itself is burnt correctly on the DVD. But, the buttons and the navigation that would have come with the
buttons is gone.
I would appreciate any clues or suggestions.
thanks

What Mac OS?
There was a problem for CS3, the workaround being using =3 instead of =1 or =2 in the menu layers. I think it was supposed to be fixed in CS4, but ....
In any event, try changing some of the =1/=2's to =3 and see if those buttons are corrected.

Thanks Stan. I saved a new copy of the disk image. That one seems to be working OK. It would seem that when I make a duplicate and transfer it to my laptop, the process corrupts the file somehow. Anyhow, problem solved for now.

OS 10.8.5 on both the desktop and laptop. When I transfer the .iso file to the laptop from the desktop, the buttons disappear upon burning. Now, I am burning from the desktop to by-pass the problem.
