C70 File Names All Named CLIPS001

Contributor ,
Sep 29, 2021 Sep 29, 2021

I know this is an old Canon issue with other cameras, but this is happening on PP 15.4 on M1. Sometimes I even had 3-4 files come in wiht correct names and the rest of the files named CLIPS001. They were imported from the Media Browser. Renaming the enclosing folder to CLIPS002 solves the issue, but obviously this is a stupid hack.

Hi davef43726944,

We're sorry to hear about this. We can get this checked. Would you mind running the app in Rosetta mode & check if it's working properly? Also, if possible please share a download link for the folder structure with the media files. It will help us to diagnose the issue properly.

Thanks,

Sumeet

Has this been resolved? Renaming the enclosing folder to CLIPS002 doesn't resolve the issue for me....

Is there way to make the real file names appear in Premiere?....
