Hey everyone !
So, I've been asked to edit a interview with 2 participators.
The 2 audio tracks are clean in term of quality (1 mic per participator), but beacause the 2 micros/participators were not far enough, and even the audio tracks being fully syncro, we can hear a kind of "echo".
So I have to manually edit / cut the audio of each tracks whenever one of the spectateur doesn't speak, in order to have the best global results.
I could eventually set up a filter (such as lowering the volume of each track when the db is lower than...) but I'd like to avoir this solution for multiple reasons.
Is there a solution (PP/Audition/Plugin) that would compare boths tracks and auto-edit ?
Thank you guys, that'd be a time savior !

The effect you are looking for is called a Gate, or a Noise Gate. Premiere and Audition contain this functionality in the Dynamics and Dynamics Processing effects.

Hey guy, did you get your interview done? How was your audio problem handled? Just curious. Until.
