given that premiere is able to decipher language and convert it into captions, im wondering if there is a way i can search for certain words or phrases in an audio file in premiere, (much the same as you might search a text document using CTRL +F)

for context, this is when im trying to match a VO up with a script,  and the audio file was not recorded in the same order as the script

Hey djmattyz,

I can't remember a dedicated feature for this purpose, but you can create a transcription of your voice-over recording, use the search box in the Transcript panel to look for keywords, and then match the time code in the transcript with your script. Here's a tutorial on transcripts. Let us know if this helps.

Thanks,

Ishan
