Can't change output name or destination on export

I've had this problem for a few projects now, and on previous projects, restarting Premiere has helped, but now that doesn't seem to work either.

When I go to export media, I attempt to change the file name and destination by clicking on the blue file name, but nothing happens. Expected behavior is for clicking the current name to open a Finder folder to navigate and rename the output.

I've seen similar (old) posts about Premiere crashing when attempting to rename on export, and the workaround offered there was to change the render settings, but I'm unable to do that on my projects (it's greyed out in project settings), so I'm not sure if that workaround is still usable.

I know it's possible to export it as-is and then rename and move the file afterward--and that's what I've been doing--but it seems so ridiculous that Premiere won't let me do that in the export process.

I'm guessing the dialogbox is hidden. Have your tried running Premiere in Rossetta 2 mode?

Have you already tried resetting the Pr preferences? Try that.

Thank you!

Opening the Intel version does allow me to rename on export, but I'm still curious as to why the Apple Silicon version gives me trouble with this.
